Disappointed

Disappointed is such a sad feeling. When you think something is going to go one way, and it doesn’t. You think someone is going to do something and they don’t. You have ideas about yourself that don’t come to fruition. Or even just the ending of that book you are reading…. meh.

The drawings go in order, Days 1-5. Click on the first drawing and you can click through them all.

Day 1. Disappointment as total collapse. You worked like crazy and that thing just went bust, along with your energy and confidence.

Day 2: You get in a fight with someone and it stays on your mind, you can’t be free of it, nor can you find a solution.

Day 3: So many expectations swirling around you and then they are dampened by something you didn’t expect.

Day 4: The door you were sure was open isn’t, and you feel directionless and alone.

Day 5: Disappointment is so often associated with what we think that we want and have failed to achieve, but sometimes it can turn to reliëf when you realize it may not have been what you wanted all along. In that case, a new (or old) door opens.
